âBlind Sideâ star Quinton Aaron: Sandra Bullock criticism over Tuohy-Michael Oher lawsuit âwrongâ
Don’t blame Sandra Bullock.
That’s the message Quinton Aaron, the actor who portrayed Michael Oher in “The Blind Side,” defended his co-star from online criticism she’s received for playing Leigh Anne Tuohy.
“We are living in a day and age where people are hell bent on pointing the blame on people and are just throwing things out there that’s wrong,” Aaron told The New York Post. “It’s like saying, ‘Let’s throw this person to the wolves.’ “
Oher filed a petition Monday in a Tennessee probate court accusing Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy of lying to him by having him sign papers making them his conservators rather than his adoptive parents nearly two decades ago.

Meanwhile, some social media users began suggesting that Bullock, 59, should return her Academy Award for portraying Leigh Anne.
“Sandra did nothing wrong,” Aaron said. “That’s my girl and she is going through a really tough time right now,” he added, referencing the recent death of her longtime partner Bryan Randall. “I really feel like they should leave her alone and stop trying to come at her. …
“Stop trying to come for Sandra because you’re going to make me mad and they are going to have to come through me.”

A lawyer for the Tuohys said that they want to end a conservatorship that he’s challenging in court. Lawyer Randall Fishman said Wednesday that they intend to enter into a consent order to end the conservatorship. Oher filed a petition Monday in Tennessee accusing the Tuohys of lying to him by having him sign papers making them his conservators. Oher, now 37, wants a full accounting of assets. He says he received nothing from the Oscar-nominated movie “The Blind Side.” The Tuohys have called the allegations ridiculous and part of a shakedown attempt.
